Hello,

My name is Rawika Phokkasap and Aurora Ansiktsmassage & Gua Sha is my company.
I was born in Thailand, in an agricultural region near the border with Laos. The main city is Ubon Ratchathani. I came to Sweden several years ago, and now I live in Västerås with my wonderful child and my beloved husband.

The art of massage is part of Thai traditions and culture.
Of course, I love massages because they are part of my cultural inheritance. There are also personal reasons, and I want to share some of them with you.
The science and technics of massage have always been a passion for me, a passion that has its origins in my childhood.

My father was ill and could not walk anymore. The doctors' treatments failed to improve his condition. Then he turned to one of his friends, who gave him massages, and ... the "miracle" happened after a few massage sessions: my father was able to walk again and he resumed a normal life.
This is one of the reasons why I have always loved the art of massage, but it is not the only one.
I had a friend who lived in Hua Hin. She is no longer with us, and I always miss her: she was like a sister to me.

She was very good at giving typical Thai massage. She gave massages also to some ladies of the Royal Court. So, when I could go to Hua Hin to visit her, it was a privilege to enjoy one of her amazing massages and talk about the secrets of her massages.

Here in Sweden, I have many friends who work in the Thai massage branch, but none of them are expert in facial massage.
Yet, I am convinced that there is the need for facial care that only a few experts can offer here in Sweden. My conviction is based on my personal experience, and on my observation about the high number of people who have dry and dehydrated facial skin, and also dermatological problems here in Sweden.

So I started to develop my project; in the facial massage, I want to combine:

- the good effects of the traditional facial massage for both the facial skin and the whole body relaxation,

- the anti-aging, hydrating and protective properties of the modern creams.
I started to attend facial massage courses and to look for creams that could help, hydrate and restore the tone and shine of the facial skin. It was a long and difficult journey that led me to my professional activity on facial massage.
